One Wednesday night, I packed my axe & headed for this weekly blues jam I heard about. NO WAY was I ready for what I heard! I walked into that funky old door a FREE MAN, then WHAM! - I was drafted into Tabby's Blues Boot Camp & Finishing School. As a house guitarist, I found myself playing with cats like Tabby Thomas, Henry Gray, Chris Thomas King, Raful and Kenny Neal, Larry Garner, Chicago Al, Jay Monque'D, Lil' Jimmy Reed, etc. Thanks, Tabby, for doin' what you do: the man's got a Heart-of-Gold and a Will-of-Steel! Come on out to the Box and let the blues soothe your soul!
