Taboada
"Tony Taboada, an eloquent
Cuban American songwriter
based in Houston, deftly combines the best
elements of Pop, Cuban music, funk, and various
other styles. His
influences are diverse, ranging from Eddie Palmieri to
John Lennon, from the Stones to Miles Davis,
Hank Williams to Ibraham Ferrer. I've been in the
music business for 35 years, and I don't think
I've ever met a guy with more diverse influences.
He's prolific to boot, totally driven to write and
play, and he surrounds himself with
excellent players and co-writers. This is truly
top notch stuff that you cannot find on a major
label. ENJOY!"

About the musicians
Taboada uses only first call players,
the finest musicians Houston has to
offer. The live band, Commercial Art
opened for Steely Dan when they came
through a while back. More info
on the players is due soon, with pictures,
at their upcoming website. Stay tuned!
