It is inspired by the ancient settlement of Skara Brae on the Orkney Islands, which was buried four thousand years ago in a violent storm, and subsequently uncovered in anot her storm during the nineteenth century. It features Scots Gaelic lyrics from the Carmina Gaedelica. From Polly's Album "Taste the Wall".
