Texas God was formed in 1990 by Andy Fuertsch who wrote, played, and recorded with Lester Bangs and the Delinquents. It was quoted that, "Lester's album with the Delinquents was the predecessor of so-called alternative-country bands such as Wilco and Son Volt". Does it remain that Texas God is the forerunner of this so-called alternative country music. Take a listen to the music and you tell me.
