Andy M. Stewart, Singer and
Songwriter
Keeper of the Scots-Irish Tradition
Called one of Celtic music's most gifted
singers and arguably the best songwriter in the entire folk tradition,
Andy M. Stewart has been delighting audiences with his music and humour
for two decades.
Perhaps best known as the singer for the
Scottish super-group Silly Wizard, Andy has had a successful solo career
since Silly Wizard disbanded in 1988, touring with musicians like Manus
Lunny and Gerry O'Beirne. He continues to record and perform stirring
traditional and inspired original songs.

| Strathmore lies between the Grampian mountains to the north and the Sidlaw hills to the south , the greater part lying in Perthshire , but also extending into the county of Angus. Translated from the Gaelic, "Srathmhor" means "the big plain." It is a beautiful, fertile place, fed by the rivers Tay and Isla and it's where I grew up. |
