Fans, As you all may or may not know, Stalemate has broken up for all of its memeber to go our seperate ways. We all entered that stage of life called "college" and are spread out across the country. Below lies the legacy of Stalemate - three tracks from our most recent project: "Philosophy at 33 RPM." This CD was never printed, as we ran out of time, however it has 12 tracks all written over the past year. Check out the songs, and if you want more, send us an email, and we can deliver other tracks from the CD to you somehow.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past 4 years. We wouldn't be here without you -Stalemate

This song is based on the economic trading policies of European nations in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. Under a mercantilist policy a nation sought to sell more than it bought so as to accumulate bullion. Besides bullion, raw materials for domestic manufacturers were also sought, and duties were levied on the importation of such goods in order to provide revenue for the government. Make sense? |
