Mahalah is a brutally powerful metal band rising on the scene from Sacramento, Ca.
The name Mahalah is derived from the Hebrew word meaning sickness. The band emerged in March of 2000.
Within just two months of releasing their self-titled four song EP, Mahalah had sold over two hundred copies, before they stopped to start spreading the word of their pulse-pounding metal by giving away free two song demo discs, in order to promote their up and coming full length album Stress Fracture Which has a release date of September of 2001. Mahalah has quickly proven to be one of the hardest working bands in Northern Ca., by self-booking and playing over fifty shows within their first seven months of performing together.
Combining their powerful sound with their highly energetic live show, Mahalah has gained a loyal following. They are now reaching out to all parts of the world by getting rave reviews on such websites as: pimprockpalace.com, powerslave.com, dynamicrock.com, and antimtv.com to name a few. Mahalahs popularity has also spread worldwide by "word of mouth" of loyal fans. They have also seen radio airplay on such radio stations as, KRXQ 98.5 in Sacramento Ca, The Famous KROQ in Los Angeles Ca, KSJO 93.1 in San Jose Ca, IYE 87.7 New York Ny, KYDS 103.3 in Sacramento Ca, KWOD 106.5 in Sacramento Ca, KDVS 90.3 in Davis Ca, plus many more.
By combining the incredible talents of Kainan, Josh Williams, Chris Berge, and Josh Bauer, they have created an incredible force, both visually and sonically. If you have not yet experienced this band, then you can only imagine the power that is...
