Stone Soup is an old fairy tale about a man who comes to town with only a rock and convinces everyone that he can magiccaly make the best pot of soup in the world if everyone will add an ingredient to his rock. Of course they add all the good stuff and he pulls out the rock. Regardless the concept is different people adding different elements to the rock. A concept which various artists have latched on to. That being said there a lots of bands with the name Stone Soup out there in the world we just happened to have enrolled on MP3.com first.
