The Computer Code Hoedown! |

For legal reasons, mp3.com has elected to remove this song from their
site. The MPAA has successfully generated enough fear of lawsuits to frighten
many into giving up their free speech. In a free country under our Constitution,
this shouldn't even be an issue. Do we need any more proof that the MPAA
should be dissolved?
In a federal court case last
year, Judge Lewis Kaplan ruled in favor of the MPAA saying that a particular
piece of computer code was not a form of speech. This song was written to
make the simple and obvious point that it is no less speech than anything
else. It was submitted to the DeArt
Contest where it came a close second in the October submissions.
NOTE: THIS SONG IS NOT HOSTED ON MP3.COM.

This is a parody of those educational films they made us watch in school. It's all about the "benefits" of movie ratings. |

This is a parody of a talk radio interview between a straight-laced host and an obnoxnious fly, blasting the practices of the MPAA. |
