Thanks for stopping by. We describe ourselves as a
hard rock band, with a twist of our own we call "pomp rock". Big and
thick and orchestral sounding. Bombastic. We've literally brought
celings down at shows. Our live sound is definitely more, well,
live than the tunes recorded here, although we love the
studio sound as well. Our producer, John Falzone at On-Fire Productions
here in Raleigh, NC did an awesome job with it!
Check us out a bit and let
us know what you think of
the material. We really do want feedback. Don't be a stranger
too... we hope to be adding new material here in the next month
or so, so come back as often as you can to check it out as well.

A driving rocker, with a spacey, ambient ending to it. Live it comes off harder and edgier than the studio version here, although we absolutely love the production. This is another great piece of work by John Falzone at On-Fire Prodcutions here in Raleigh, NC. Check out the sound of the tune. We think you'll appreciate the production, especially at the ending. The lyrics are intended to be a subtle stab at materlialism. See if you can catch it. |

This is one of synaxis' original tunes and is still one of our favorites to play. It's got drive to it and a big finish which is typically synaxis. The production is 95% all guitar, with all the orchestral sounds done using looping with slide, harmonics and E-bow all layered together. The song is very special to us and is dedicated, as always, to Damien who used to roadie for us. He died in a very tragic way a few years ago, and loved this tune. It was played at his funeral by his fiance. No subtlety in the message; the words speak for themselves. |
