For more than 30 years The Spindles have been giving show-stopping performances. The legendary Baltimore group has not lost a step as they continue to thrill and to delight audiences of all ages. The Spindles, including original members Joe and Raymond Shields, are best known for their stylish moves and tight harmonies. The Spindles band includes original saxophonist Roscoe Evans and original bass guitarist Charles "Hawk" Hawkins. The Spindles have recorded such hits as; "Candy Candy" written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, "Count to Ten" written by George Kerr: and their signature song "Making Up Time." During the glory days of R&B, The Spindles shared the stage with such acts as: The Dells; The Four Tops; Marvin Gaye; Gladys Knight & The Pips; The Mowton Review; The O'Jays; The Temptations; Stevie Wonder; and many more. Recently, The Spindles have opened for: The Drifters; Dennis Edwards and Ollie Woodson (formerly of The Temptations); The Intruders; The Orioles; and The Whispers. In short, The Spindles are still performing as strong as ever
