Formed in mid - 1995, INSTIGATION have been pounding out their hard
driving, straight forward power metal.
Early 1996 saw the release of their "It Never Ends" demo. The release
went on to gain the band attention in the local club market, and national
fanzine press. Later that year. INSTIGATION took part in a local bands
compilation series called "Street Noize". That placement landed two tracks
on the compilation. Shortly afterwards, it also landed the band with a
management deal.
With management behind the band. INSTIGATION returned to the studio to
begin recording new material. Those sessions spawned their second demo,
entitled "Fate Of The World". A seven song outing, that continued on with
their power metal assault. Influenced by the likes of TESTAMENT,
PRO-PAIN, and MERCYFUL FATE to name a few. While remaining true to
themselves, and creating their own sound, they could call their own.
Sales of their demos, appearences on compilations, and promotional
samplers. Have helped INSTIGATION get their music heard by an
estimated 5,000 music fans.
Once again. "Fate Of The World" like their previous effort, went on to gain
the band worldwide press coverage and radio airplay. Within weeks of it's
release however, line up changes forced INSTIGATION to pull out of a mini
- tour of the east coast.
In 1998 with a new line up solidly behind them, the band retreted to their
home studio. In only five hours, ten songs were recorded. Seven of which
can be found on there release "Raw". With the latter being used on various
compilation releases. Keeping true to their live sound. "Raw" captures the
band in their strongest element LIVE. No overdubs, no corrections. Just
straight up in your face power metal.
1999 saw the band return to the studio in early April to begin recording their
latest offering "Resurrection". With it's release, INSTIGATION are set to
stake their claim for world domination. Recordings for "Resurrection"
ended in mid - November.
With "Resurrection" set for a early 2000 release. Advance press coverage,
and radio airplay already comming in - 2000 looks like a good year for
INSTIGATION to break out.
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!
