Shawn Harvey - Electro Retro Cyber Boy...singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer.
The multi talented artist from Cornwall, UK was born on 02/09/71 in Plymouth,UK.
He learnt to play guitar age 13 and has been writing songs ever since.
Throughout the 90's, he gigged with his own band "Ricky Fentone and the Flat Top Cats", playing Rock'n'Roll, Country and Blues covers as well as his own material.
The band had a good following and was often featured in the local press as well as on local radio, recording several albums and having their own fan club.
In 1997, Shawn split from the group to persue his solo career as a songwriter.
He has got his own home studio where he has recorded over 350 songs by now, all self written, as well as a musical, on which he is still working now.
He has developed his own unique style of music,ELECTRO RETRO, a mix of retro sounds from the 50's, 60's and 70's with modern techno beats.
He has proven very popular on the Internet, with a large web presence and entering the mp3 charts on besonic.com and soundclick.com regularly. He's been No.1 in South Africa, Mexico, Austria and Canada and has top 10's all around the world, including USA, Canada, Australia and Europe.
He has got a promoter in USA and a record producer in London, who has just finished working with him on a demo CD for the A&R.
Last year, Shawn was featured on "The Chris Young Show", Taunton TV and "The Blue Whale", Granada Sky TV, as well as performing live at several showcase event including "Popshow", Covent Garden, London.
Just recently, he has been filmed for the brand new Channel 4 TV series "Thank You For The Music" due out in September this year.
Wherever he goes, the audiences love him and his new sound. His performance is electric! Over the last year, there has been much interest in his music internationally, and now Shawn is looking for a record / publishing deal.
He has got huge talent, looks, stage presence and a large song catalogue, everything a record company could ever dream of!
