Welcome to Roberto Torao's MP3 Homepage
Hi, Folks! I'm guitar player from a northeast city of Brazil called Recife.
I released a independent CD-Demo "Seas of Infinity" in 1998 where I tried
to sound original, not another Malmsteen or Satriani, and making the songs
enjoyable to the people who doesn't play guitar. On this project the music's
melody was the most important thing, I didn't care about playing at the speed
of light or play impossible guitar licks, I kept in mind that my music should
take the listener somewhere...
Feel free to listen and download any song. Please, listen first to "Lost
in the Abyss" the open track of my CD-Demo.

This is the title track of my CD-Demo. One day, I was walking on the beach's shore when I looked into the infinite sea of Recife, I came up with the intro part in my head. I start the to work on it in my homestudio using several guitar effects and overdubs. There's no shred solo on the song, just a song that started this instrumental project. |

I was writing this song with vocals and lyrics inspired in Power Metal bands like Stratovarius and Gammaray, but I can't sing, my voice is terrible, so kept this one instrumental. The clean guitar outro-solo is an old stuff that I found in a tape lost in my bedroom. |
