blueroom is a collection of musicians, who have over many
years
come together to just create new music... there was to be no rules,
no limits, no rehearsing and no expectations of anyone other than
to play in the moment... blueroom is an ideal as much as an idea...
a feeling as much as a band... and a hell of a lot of fun... i have
watched and listened over the years as the sound grew, changing
as the moods and lives of the people involved changed... changing from
style to style as the personnel changed, yet never losing their sound...
even through the countless name changes...
their music is rock, with a jazz attitude and approach,
it is ambient yet it rolls into you and over you like an out
of control wave...
it is serious and political and difficult and easy all at once...
it is whatever the moment is to the musician and the listener...
from celtic to funk to jimi to abstractism with a touch of reggae
thrown in for good measure, it always felt like blueroom...
it always felt good, and it was always real.
