your neck of the woods. What is happening here? Actually, I'm trying to create a
situation for Artists on mp3.com who wouldn't normally be able to afford to work
in the Million Dollar Rooms of Nashville. The only acts that can afford
these rooms are the Major Label acts with huge recording budgets. Nashville as a
whole works M-F 9 to 5 and then Silence...The Silence part is where you
come in Seventeen Grand Recording in
Nashville is a World Class, State of the Art Recording Studio with clients that are a who's who of Country, Pop, and Rock Music ..
. 17 Grand is giving us the opportunity to make Noise during the silence...The
Studio's Neve Room (Studio A) rival's New York L.A. or London and the Euphonix room (Studio B) rivals SSL but with the
superior 5.1 used for Film and DVD and of course CD This takes things to another
level all together. The owners have given me free reign to wheel and deal with
the upcoming acts from mp3.com in order to get them into a proper recording
studio and to record a killer world class record from start to finish. Or (and
just as important) mix tracks already recorded, or do overdubs in any format
in order to really complete a project in a studio that happen's to be as good as
they get...All I'm really trying to do is make noise during the silence and this
seems like a pretty good place to start. I'm going to offer the rooms at a rate
which is affordable to the point of getting the owners mad at me... My goal in
life is far from booking studio time in Nashville. I'm a recording
artist/producer and that's where my heart lies in music but this is a good
situation and the people at 17 Grand are good people so I'm going to see what I
