Ex-ortation
... was founded in 1992. After several concerts the first demo-tape (Nightmare of war) was recorded in 1994.
1995 EX-ORTATION recorded their debut-CD "the last trial" (label witchhunt records / distribution SPV) at the Dynamo Studios Zurich. A few months later the Band signed a contract with Matt Vain (Amorphis, Immortal etc.) for the shooting of 1 or 2 videoclips.
After a Line-up-change EX-ORTATION made a few concerts and produced 2 more Demo-CD's. Because of dissensions concerning the sound-style, EX-ORTATION quit the Death-Metal-sound and found itself again in the Crossover Hardcore scene. EX-ORTATION took every chance to play onstage (support of Death, Overkill, Mortification, Nevermore, Angel Dust, Benediction, Paranoya Park, etc.
With the production of the demo-CD "Contact" in the year 2000, EX-ORTATION is trying to get a record-contract.
