| It is a moody story about a relationship with someone. The song flows with the lyrical content, when it is in the story telling section of the song, the music sounds as if you were walking and telling a story. During the angrier parts of the song, the music picks up and gets angrier. During the bridge it kind of goes into a lyrical, thought process, in the persons head, so the music gets very floaty. Then the end is the climatic point of the song where every thing lifts and the music actually changes keys, up 1 whole step.kind of like a relationship, "Promise" is a roller coaster. |
