Check out my official vocal jazz webpage at www.kerrymarsh.com.
In addition to checking on the newest charts included on this page, you may be interested to check out a new series of tunes for me, "Short Improvisations for Multitracked Voice." With these tunes, I've sung one improvised line, and then gone back and sung other lines that compliment the first, using the same multitrack process. The result is
a rougher sound, not as refined, but, I think, an interesting musical product that feels fresh. These tunes will still be produced, with effects, but will not be written out in advance. See what you think. These tunes have a bluish artwork as their icon.
My sincere thanks for listening. Feel free to contact me and give me your thoughts and ideas.

My philosophy wrapped up into an ethereal vocal jazz composition. This song has an ECM flavor, but to me gives the feeling of listening to the recording of Sputnik for the first time, without the beeping. |

A blues chart inspired by a John Clayton Big Band tune that intentionally strips away everything but the "shout" section of the normal ensemble jazz tune form and leaves some solo space in a hard swinging, laid back tune. |
