The music I make is deep, passionate, and heartfelt.
I write music within the electronic realm, yet I take
influences from all sorts of music from blues, classical
and jazz. My music is the kind of thing I'd like to see
people screaming at on the dancefloor, and then coming
home and playing it again to relive that experience all
over again. I try not to use cheesy tactics in order to
draw the listener and user in.
My music is me. All of its idiosyncrasies are very
similar to the ones I maintain in my personality -
melancholic, mysterious, and sometimes humourous. I
try to make the sort of music that tries to epitomize what
'proper' dance music should be. My music is underground.
It's not the latest fashion or the newest teen idol.
It's dark, it's dirty, it's drugs, it's sex, it's cancerous,
it's lewd, it's moody, it's emotional, it's everything
you wanted to tell your mother but you never could quite
explain properly.
I take my music very seriously, and I hope you do too.
Enjoy!

Again, I was inspired by a certain now-defunct 1980s English New Wave band. This is a pure dancefloor number meant to rock out a club. A nearly 2 minute intro of percurssion bumps along before the track really shifts into gear. 4 minutes in and a MASSIVE breakdown tears through the mix. A pad washes in and suddenly, a breakbeat grips you by the bollocks and sends you for a loop. Time is flying. Cue mass hysteria as that builds up again all back into a peak when the kick drum and full on tune come slamming back into the mix. |

Quite simply put, this is a remix I've done of Andre Meyer AKA Nordlicht's 'Within Each Of Us' trance track. The original is a pretty raging trance affair and I chose to take it down about, ooooh, 100 levels or so. That's not to say that it's any less danceable, but it's just not as in your face with melody as the original is. Surprisingly, most of the original is kept in tact, but the BPMs are knocked down from around 145 to 132 and more of a groove and some dancefloor funk is injected into the tune to reflect it being a more housier mix. A few dirty stabs and a new basslines are also added to the tune, while I went to town on the vocals and fvcked them up on a whole new level. Listen for yourself and see what you think. You can check out the original (and quite a few other remixes) as http://www.nexxus.nu |

This is a remix of the original 'Vegabond' tune. While still staying on its house vibe, this is more progressive in feel than the very deep original. |
