winter in august initially began as most bands do, in a basement garage. here is some quick info about us:

jason j. - vocals/guitar
jason writes most of the lyrics, and works constantly with morgan on writing new material

mark s. - drums
when not eating or sleeping, mark is drumming. in the car, in restraunts, everywhere

morgan p. jones - bass
morgan does a little of everything. he composes a lot of our songs, hooks us up with cool gear and knows something about everything music related

ian k. - guitar/vocals
writes parts, sings some, loves to eat pizza and drink ice cold soda in the hot tub

some of our favorite bands include hot water music, the blacktop cadence, jets to brazil, texas is the reason, pop unknown.

we will have a bunch of new songs up here for you to take a listen in the very near future. our demo will be done by the end of the month (hopefully) and it will be available both as a cd and here on mp3.com. so take a listen and drop us a line.
