to the Say The Word Project |
| Did
you know that suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death in the United
States and many other countries? Alternative Static is
working hard to destroy that statistic and end teen suicide once and for
all. We know that music can make a difference in a young person's
life, and we are going to do whatever we can to give the gift of music
to the young people of New York City. The "Say The
Word" Project started when I wanted to do something, anything
to help prevent young people from taking their own lives |

the Project |
| We
know this isn't an easy issue to talk about, but we've made it a little
easier by creating this, our second compilation of songs by MP3.com artists who
donated their time and talent because they too want to end teen suicide.
The CD encourages you to "open your heart, open your mind, open
your mouth and Say The Word". By instilling young people with
the knowledge that it's okay to ask for help, we are saving lives, one
person at a time. This CD is the second in what is a continuing
effort! |
