Mighty impressive guitar
picker who teamed up with Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton to make this cracking
album.Damn good stuff that'll appeal to all modern Texas blues fans. Highly
recommended.

European guitarist Nuno
Mindelis caught the blues bug by listening to Johnny Winter, so it must
have been a dream come true to team up with Winter's former bassist Tommy
Shannon and Shannon's partner in Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble rhythm
section, drummer Chris Layton. A gifted guitarist, Mindelis knows the blues
( check out his two Jimmy Reed covers ) and keeps rock influences to a
minimum, weaving together multiple guitar lines and creating delicate harmonics
on a cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Castles Made Of Sand" and crafting long bluesy
solos on the traditional "Egyptian Priestess" and "Blues for Antones.
