IVELENE, a Casablanca-born, New York City based singer/songwriter is on the scene with her Exotic-World Beat/Rock sound. A distinctive sound all of her own, her band of top musicians accentuate her sultry, alluring vocals with exotic wind and percussion instrumentsas as well as guitar and keyboards. Inspired sounds come from her native land of Morocco as well as kickin' rock and slammin' dance riffs.
IVELENE, is a four time award winning songwriter from Billboard song contest as well as from several World Peace Organizations. "I touch on very real issues concerning today, ranging from love & hate, personal struggles, and just fun".
"GIVE IN TO ME", a dance single, which she co-produced, went to #4 on the club charts in Europe. Echoes Magazine (noted Dance/Club magazine in the United Kingdom), raved "Record labels should be plotting assassinations to sign her".
Her new CD "Exotic Fantasy" on A.C.M. Records is in final production stages and due for early spring release.
"I truly enjoy touching on the many different types of music styles, for like people, they are changeable. If we allow ourselves the freedom to explore, express and see with our minds' eye, the innermost feelings we have about ourselves and the world around us, we might go insane; or learn to live in harmony. Music must be heard and felt by everyone not just those in the industry or who call themselves "creative". For music, like ourselves, has many different colors, shapes and dimensions and like our heartthrob, must be experienced completely!"
