Sonata for mandolin, in two parts, the first one being rather in baroque style with occasional sprinkles of minimalism, whilst in the second one (allegro) the minimalistic mood prevails. The piece was composed as the author's response to Princess Galitzine's creative challenge. She asked if he was capable of writing something in Vivaldi style, so the piece, in a way, is a tribute to one of his favorite composers. |

A piece for female voice, chamber ensemble and a mechanical music box, whose "built-in" characteristics, such as melody (albeit somewhat altered by the composer) and tempo
(slowing down inevitably) are meant to symbolically represent some parameters of human life. And death. |
