	Ryan Ewing and I wrote this song about two years ago in his guest house. Forest Fires is about going through the trials of life and the problems we encounter. They are inevitable. Like a fire clears the land, many of the problems we face throughout life will make us stronger in the end. The song also speaks of knowing God. For many, myself included, knowing God through Jesus Christ is what makes life bearable, extraordinary, unpredictable, peaceful, satisfying, nothing short of incredible. I hope & pray, if you don't know of Jesus and the satisfaction you will receive from a personal relationship with Him, you would seek Him out.
