	The Symphony No. 25 was used in the opening storm scene of the movie Amadeus which garnered 8 Academy Awards. Since our music has been available to listeners on MP3.com, this arrangement by Mozart of this great symphony has been an audience favorite. The G minor key captures the fury of the storm and passion best captured by Mozart. Incidentally, the soundtrack for the movie Amadeus is made up completely of music by Mozart, a first for an Academy Award winning movie.

	You may recognize this as the theme from J.S. Bach's Cantata: "Sleeper's Awake." This piece by Bach simply soothes the soul. A simple melody is developed and brought out by the Violins, Viola and Cello. The theme, though repeated often, never gets overused and overrepeated. That is the genius of Bach. This arrangement was done by the Rococo Quartet.

	Beethoven Symphony No. 5 in C minor is arguably the most famous piece of classical music. Rococo Quartet is indebted to our cellist Marek Szpakiewicz for his vision of arranging this Symphonic work for String Quartet. We are the first String Quartet in the world to have arranged and recorded this marvelous work for String Quartet. The String Quartet is able to capture different voices and ideas of interpretation in a very effective way. We hope that you will enjoy listening as much as we have enjoyed recording Beethoven's crowning achievement in music. This work was used in the movie and soundtrack to "Immortal Beloved" a motion picture recounting the life of Ludwig Van Beethoven.

	Pachelel Canon is one of the most famous pieces of classical music in the world. The cello has a simple 8 note bass line that repeats throughout the piece. The 2 violins and viola play exactly the same melody yet are staggered 2 measures apart from each other, thus the term "Canon".There are many live and synthesized recordings of this canon available. I hope you will appreciate the sensitive, yet passionate interpretation of this timeless classic. This is a string quartet arrangement.

	This is the beautiful Mozart Symphony No. 29 in A major. The opening theme is astounding, basically building on an A major scale. This symphony was also arranged for String Quartet by the Rococo Quartet. It is not as furious and vivacious as the Symphony No. 25, though many prefer it for it's relaxing and lyrical qualities.

	The Bach Air on the G string is performed on one string by the solo violin. It is the lowest string, giving the melody a deep rich tone, imitating the darkness of the cello. Bach Air is a favorite at weddings and has been popularized on motion picture soundtracks such as Devil's Advocate, Seven, and Runaway Bride. If you enjoy this piece, you will probably like Bach's Arioso, Music for Relaxation, and the Christmas Cantata featured on our second page, Rococo Quartet!
