These songs tell the moving stories of the 49ers, prospectors who risked life and happiness to find gold in the far-away land of California. There are mentions throughout of the historic mining towns of the California Gold Country Placerville, Sutter's Mill, San Francisco and some of the famous characters of the California Gold Rush of 1849. Tales of hope, struggle, suffering, love left behind, and the ever-present bugs make these characters vivid and real. The music was composed and arranged by Billboard award-winning songwriter and Columbia recording artist Jimmi Accardi. He feels this is some of the best music he's written. The songs were used for the musical play "Gold Rush Days". For more info, downloads, and regular CDs, go to the Gold Rush Boys page on Molehill Music.
