I love my cat. I really do. And I know that Bob, and Lula, and Fluffy, and Turkey, and Minx, and all the other dogs and cats and ferrets and rats and snakes and gerbils that I've met are loved by the people they live with. We're all lucky that way. But not every animal is lucky enough to have somebody that loves them, somebody that takes care of them. And that's where The Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society comes in. Established in 1887, the shelter is dedicated to helping those animals that have found themselves alone in the world, and to finding new homes for them. Finding somebody who'll love them and care for them in the way that every animal should be cared for.
