Don't hesitate to get in touch... Streaming MP3 (Hi-Fi) Streaming MP3 (Lo-fi) "The Domain of Neptune" CD available ("The sleep of reason produce monsters") Based on a sketch by Francisco Goya this song depicts a nightmare on the borderline between reality and dreamstate. Soothing, dark synth on top of a disturbing background. Contains figurative intermission. One of the more "friendly" songs from the CD "The Domain of Neptune". A pre-mature version of this song appeared on the compilation "Ringworm V.1" (v/a, TIN015) Based on Aleister Crowley's magnificent poem "One star in sight". Somewhat industrial rhythm, dark backgrounds and loads of more or less figurative elements throughout and spoken words. Veeery slow and haunting, somewhat environmental. Remixed by Hærleif Lang s of "NoN Ethos" and "Northaunt". Described by himself as "Sublime Enema Mix". Well, I guess it's as good a description as any. This is actually the first song produced under the name Metus Mortuus, and appeared on the compilation "MC Støy" (by Odd Qvam).Made using motorcycle-samples (the concept of the compilation) using equipment abandoned a long time ago. Finally Metus Mortuus' 2nd CD - "Fragments" - is on its way. This is the first edit of the first song so far. I will continuegiving you early edits from the upcoming CD, giving you a glance at the process of creating Darkwave ;) Live performance at the Rottistock festival 2000 in Namsos, Norway. Unfortuntately only the last 3 minutes was recorded, but it includes the response of the audience standing near the mic. (in norwegian) *grin* Recording from my live performance at Blaest, Trondheim, Norway. Total 20 minutes (part I&II) of dark ambience with splashes of noise in between. Recorded through the mixer, so no audience noise. The background video will be available soon. Recording from my live performance at Blaest, Trondheim, Norway.
