I wrote this song because I got tired of flatpicking standard bluegrass tunes. This is my first attempt at writing a song, period. It has a spanish flavour to it. If you have Guitar Pro and you would like the tab I can email it to you no problem, although I usually don't play the same thing twice. I did use Band In A Box for the acoustic bass part since I don't have one, but the rythmn and lead guitar is just me. |

One of my favorite hymns played with mandolin and guitar. Again, another song in the tradition of the "Tone Poems" album although Rice and Grisman didn't record this one.The "growl" of my Santa Cruz guitar really comes through on this one. Comparable to many pre-war Martins. |
Credits: Me on guitar and me on mandolin. Recorded in 1999 with Akai HD recorder, Neumann U89 and KM85 mics. Lexicon MPX-100 reverb, and Neve 1272 pre-amp. |

Just guitar and mandolin, one of my favorite combinations. The inspiration for this song came from "Tone Poems" album featuring Rice and Grisman at their acoustic best. |
Credits: Recorded in 1999 with using Akai DPS-12 HD recorder and Oktava MC012 mics. Lexicon MPX-100 reverb, and Presonus MP-20 pre-amp. |
