ALASKA follow on from a year of RADIO 1 play, along with XFM and Glasgow's Subcity to being signed to Doggerbank records. Their first release 'All the dead astronauts' is already recieving rave reviews (Musicweek - 'a cracking debut' full of 'aching melancholia'.The single is released on Oct 6th nationwide and distributed by shellshock. It can also be purchased online from amazon.co.uk.The band have been busy on new material over the summer and plan to release an album early 04. Some great gigs are afoot in particular the single launch show on Nov 1st as part of the Radio 1 live in Brighton event. Thanks for listening.
