Hi! Thanks for dropping in! By visiting the farfrummet MP3 site you have entered the age of massive worldwide distribution for home-made, lo-fi recordings of the past 30 years or so. Of all groups that operated well below the cultural radar during this time, few names bring forth such blank stares and befuddlement as Far Frummet. Now you can enjoy these rare recordings in the comfort of your own home, unless, of course, your home is uncomfortable.

Our aim is to release on MP3 the various recordings of Far Frummet, a loose aggregation of musical talents which started in 1971 (yes, that 20th century) as a high school endeavor, continued on through adversity, diversity, geography and onward to destiny ..... funny songs, serious songs, folk-rocky songs, others which are just rocky, world-beating songs, down and slightly smudged blues, experimental warbles and irreverent badinage.

Stay tuned to this spot for new recordings, old recordings, live shows, radio shows, and what have you. New recordings will probably be posted eventually, and songs that nobody likes deleted. Also visit mp3.com/tophergayle for related material.

I like the bohemian life, away with me troubles, me sorrow and strife. I won't wear a collar, I won't wear a tie, I'll live like a pig till the day that I die.
