Brazilian percussionist Eliezer Freitas Santos songs from CD "Mama Africa" are "rotated"thru our play list......
And...Deep in the heart of South Minneapolis is a small , unknown aspiring tribe of drummers ,beaters and hummers .
Apparently their is a basic core group of musicians, but it can vary from composition to composition.
Influences of African djembe drum styles, latin phrases and free form can be heard.
And also on several pieces a Digeredoo drones a meditative tone over the rhythm.
