Not only a theme-song for the band, this track is actually a three-minute psychoanalytical confession of Lola, framed by Trent's mutant Buddy Holly guitar stylings. The Porter/Brian rhythm section keeps things percolating quite nicely. |

Along with "21st Century Girl," this song was intended for an as-yet-realized live album: "Miss Delicious: Live at Fish Heads." Its many Seattle references make it a local favorite. And because Lola refuses to disclose the (possibly famous) subject of the tune, no one really knows who "the spider" is. |
