Commissioned by percussionist Haruka Fujii, for her recital at Lincoln Center (NYC) in 2000. Stylishness is the key to the Metlopolitan life, and that's the main theme of this tune. An unusual combination of violin, marimba and piano brings a new groove to life -- with a little taste of irony. |
