If you're into the melodic, raspy sounds of women like Janis Joplin or Melissa Ethridge, then you should check out this artist. Although, unlike Joplin, she writes some really funny lyrics, and unlike Ethridge, I actually like her. This is music for hot smoky evenings in a local bar; a full-grown woman who isn't afraid to feign immaturity for the sake of rock. Her take on NSync is pretty funny, too.
