I use the technique pioneered by Robert Fripp of feeding electric guitar phrases and notes through multiple effects processors into a looping device that repeats everything played 30 seconds later ad infinitum. This enables you to build up on the fly various kinds of musical pieces from massive ambient walls of sound to more orchestral sounding compositions/improvisations. The track I am supplying is of the latter category and by far the best thing I have ever done. I was literally amazed when the piece 'emerged' and seemed to take on a life of it's own about two and a half minutes in. Hope you enjoy. |
