soft stringwaves elude the listener with hawaiian guitar samples into a soft, mellow ouverture. i know that i might sound disturbed! a jazzy breakbeat opening? the world is beautiful, keep on working, don't stop the pulse of the economy. but i keep on thinking that accidents happen, accidents that tear a line of disruption into your reality. burn, babylon, burn. this is your demise, the drum and bass beat takes over. the fall of babylon, the killing of the vampire. sometimes i have the feeling that none of this matters! haven't you? |

Smooth, deep, mellow soundscapes evolve and form a dense, yet fluid fabric. Sparkling and flickering analogue sounds create an atmosphere of anticipation, high expectations, and surprise. The theme is universal: seduction, erotica, sex. The old game fueled by desire and attraction starts once again. A rude, thrusting drum'n'bass beat creates tension. On and on and on. No compromise. Hypnotic beats carry through, yet hold their breath every once in a while. And above all the heavenly, mystic and comforting voice of Evi Bischof. Starting with a faint, distant humming tune, a reluctant promise made on the grounds of entrancing, swaying waves. But as the beat takes over, her voice becomes confident, teasing, stronger, and frees itself from any conventions and relicts. Is this a moaning love-couple in the background? The end is an end to itself, marked by an acoustic climax that leaves sweet silence behind. This absence of sound is felt as a promise towards a new beginning of the eternal game. |
