Position . Visual Artist living in Southern Minnesota . . .Influences . dada, Ernst, Lennon, Zappa, Duchamp, Coltrane, Picasso, Parker, Varese, Pollock, the Surrealist Group of Paris Marching Band and Squirrel Unit. Music . Labeled as experimental because each piece is unplanned and randomly mixed with elements found and discarded much like the way I do visual pieces. CD's . 'Computer' was started in 1999 and finished in early 2000. Songs include some words by Shibek, a Butoh Surrealist Poet living in Oregon and D.M. Houstman, a Writer/Musician living in Minneapolis. It seems to be 'bigger' than 'C.01' which has a much broader use of sound effects, words and rhythm. 'Computer' has a wilder flavor with some great beats. 'C.01' has a nice flow and is a good listen drivin' down the road ... both of them are ... depends on your mood *** I'm offering the original artwork from my release of these cd's to you for free ... sort of ...
