An experiment in mixing the rhythmic language of minimalistic music with a more dissonant harmonic language: sort of Glass meets Ligeti. This piece is scored for two pianos (left and right), flute, clarinet, bassoon and, on this performance, tenor sax. |
Credits: Flute: Kelly Colosimo, Clarinet: Bobby Kalajestani, Tenor Sax: Micah Keiser, Bassoon: Amy Gillick, Piano I: Luis Molino, Piano II: Ryan Brown, Conductor: Tabatha Easley |

This is an electronic piece that I assembled using samples and sound synthesis. The structure of the piece involves macro elements imitating micro elements. For example, the piece itself, like the individual sounds that make up the piece, evolves from pure sinusoidal tones to pure noise. Enough, lecturing. . . listen. |
