SKINNERBOX
was started in late 1988 by singer/songwriter King
Django and played their first show on April 1st, 1989. King Django, currently
signed as a solo artist to Epitaph/Hellcat
Records, has also led Stubborn
All-Stars and Version City
Rockers. King Django has been involved in numerous ska, punk and reggae
projects. Django is the founder of the Stubborn
Records label, well-known internationally for their roots ska, reggae and
dub sounds.
