I'm very interested in hearing from other artists around the world with a view to collaboration
(especially vocalists and rappers, but also other artists). Exchanging audio samples over the web is
quick and easy, so we can soon find out if your sample fits my track or my sample fits yours. I'd be
looking to release new tracks on mp3.com using a "featuring", like "Artist X featuring Morley" or
"Morley featuring Artist X". Nothing like a bit of cross-promotion.

In the media:
12-Oct-2001: "Passive Aggressive" appears as the closing track on
dumpHuck records "beatnsquelch 4" compilation, which is soon to be commercially released.
02-Jul-2001: Rumour has it that "Passive Aggressive" will feature as the closing track on
dumpHuck records upcoming "beatnsquelch 4" compilation. Stay tuned for more updates.
07-May-2001: Morley releases the sublime "More Time Than Money". Critics are left open-mouthed and lost for words.
Morley's exotic ethnic feel heard in "Passive Aggressive" and "Back Me Up" is emphasised further and is once again blended sweetly
with beautiful guitar lines, a catchy bass and a groovy back beat. "More Time Than Money" features cleverly mixed Turkish vocal samples, a perfect
contrast to the rest of this breezy, summery track. TV's Pull My Leg says "Out of a hundred, this has to rate in the high nineties. Sit back and enjoy."
"Back Me Up" is a sweet, dancy groove based around a tight acoustic guitar and bass synergy, backed a sparse, jumpy rhythm.
31-Jan-2001: Morley lets us in on two "works-in-progress":
"Free Man", featuring the sensual French vocals of Aude Rignault, provides a funkier, bigger beat feel, falling
between the downbeat groove of "Passive Aggressive" and the hard rhythmic edge of "Montecristo". The common thread is
sparse jazz guitar and a compelling, hypnotic bassline. Red Herring magazine calls it "... a tour-de-force. The downbeat final section left me breathless".
From Pork Pie magazine: "The best pre-night-out tune I'd heard all year. A groove I was glad to have in my head all day."
"Back Me Up" is a sweet, dancy groove based around a tight acoustic guitar and bass synergy, backed a sparse, jumpy rhythm.
29-Jan-2001: Morley's long-awaited second single, "Montecristo", makes its way onto mp3.com
to instant appreciation. The track is dominated throughout by a mesmerising Gothic chant, amply supported
by a melodic bassline groove and a dissonant, yet uplifting acoustic guitar solo. It builds steadily to a frantic
drum 'n' bassy climax.
"Taking a lead from Moby and Groove Armada, Morley is lifting electronica to new heights." AFIB
"Despite this being only January, I'm confident this will be on our Top 50 list of web music releases
of 2001." Fantasy
1-Jun-2000: "Passive Aggressive", the debut track from Australia-born, UK-based Morley
releases onto mp3.com to critical acclaim.
Described by Snufalufagus magazine as "... a progressive, soulful blend of lilting female vocals,
dub electro beats and silky smooth guitar lines. This could be the start of something big."
