I struggled for the first months of deciding to be on the Internet with what style to offer. I really record and love so many types of music. This really impeded my progress at first. The breakthrough came when I decided that I really had no intention of making this a commercial effort and was just doing this for me, and the few friends who would like to listen simply on the basis of, it was Mark.
Therefore, this is a smorgasboard of styles.
I have however, categorized things by CD. The top CD you see, Galactic Dance is my latest and is a New Age/Jazz CD without lyrics. The CD below that, Eruption at Culann Patera, has several nice songs with vocal tracks. I've also taken a few shots at some pop and rock songs which mostly in progress on the Bits and Pieces '98 CD. A number of songs here are literally "bits and pieces" that I've recorded, found interesting, but not interesting enough to necessarily write another verse on or finish. Anything that felt fun to record is here that isn't a New Age/Jazz song.
The songs generally go from my favorite to my least favorite.
