This is a piece from "The Chamber". This one features quite prominently in certain scenes from the film, and is my first 'official' work on a score. Initial feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive.... |

Here's a song I did recently for the Film "The Chamber", filmed in NYC. While I think I should've given the song a different title(don't expect a Cream cover, heh), the title does fit imagery of the film very well(my opinion). Don't expect to see this on any N9K cds, but this was an interesting direction for me. This song is part of my very first official film project, and I'm looking forward to doing more. - Keith |

Another piece I did for the soundtrack to "the Chamber". String Quartet with percussion, just what the Director ordered(I think?). The title has nothing to do with the film, so I apologize to those who've been misled. |

This is the 'final'(if I can really say that) version of this song. You are more than welcome to go ahead and decipher the lyrics for yourself. Surprisingly, this song hit #54 on the worldwide abstract charts; which may or may not be a sign that I'm not the only person cursed to exist on this particular wavelength. :) |

"Everything to fear.....and so much more....". Here's a remix of my song "Technophobia". While the original version did very well on here, there were certain things I didn't particularly like about it, and I felt the beat was a bit too erratic for certain DJs who wanted to use that song(as flattered as I was....). So, we have a new version. The basic idea of the song remains, and my girlfriend still hates it, so I know the quality's there. Enjoy! - Keith |

"This is the voice of world control!" - Ok, a nice Sci-fi laden piece here submitted for your consumption/approval/rejection. I've found that I prefer to write music/lyrics from the perspective of (as far as I can tell)inanimate objects - and this song is very much in that vein. I will most likely be including this on my upcoming CD; but in the meantime feel free to praise or trash as you feel is necessary! A friend of mine described this song as "too creepy". I hope this isn't the case...... |

With the release of my 1st cd pretty much complete, it's on to some new stuff. This probably won't end up on a cd, and I wrote this for another project, so being in line with their specifications it's a little short. If it turns out to be a decent tune, I might just make an extended version of it. We shall see....I do have a second version with voice on it, but it doesn't seem to be where I need it to be, so it will have to wait a bit. As always, you are welcome to comment or mangle my songs as you see fit. Enjoy! |

For those who weren't scared off by my first track, here's another. Here's the best definition I could find for the title: "Of or pertaining to metamorphosis; pertaining to, or involving, change." If that doesn't satisfy you, come up with your own meaning; I'm sure I'll like it. This song basically expands the direction I was going in with "Project X Squared": meaning; it's got plenty of synth action and ambience while retaining the rock vibe that will be imbedded in most of my songs. I realize that getting all of these elements to work together isn't going to happen overnight, but at the same time you have to realize it's only going to get more challenging for you once vocals are added(heh). Enjoy! - Keith |

"And so it begins....". I am extremely new with this electronica-business. That mixed in with the fact that I know absolutely nada about techno, trance, house, and many of the other styles you will find on here means that this tune may well sound a bit bastardized(heh). I have made a modest attempt to keep my 'kitchen sink' mentality in check when composing this one, but those who know me will agree that my taste buds are questionable at best. I think it's safe to assume that many of my future compositions will be a little more guitar-oriented, but who knows for sure? Enjoy!

This is my bastardized re-mix of the song "Switchback"(which can be found on ACIDplanet on VR6's page), which was re-mixed for a contest on intelliforge.net. The contest is still going on, to my knowledge - so feel free to head on over there and vote(no, it doesn't have to be for me!). For some odd reason I am finding that certain .wma files compress a little too much, leaving the sound quality to be a bit unpredicatable. I do have a 192 kps mp3, which will be uploaded to my mp3.com page soon. I'm still undecided as to whether or not this will appear on my upcoming cd, so your feedback is always appreciated. If you feel the need to be critical, then please do so - honesty first please. :) |

A little bit of a departure here for me. This may well be the first of a series of experiments gone wrong(heh), but so be it. I think this song will allow you to fully exploit the tripping out capabilities of your MP3 Player's CGI display(if you have one) that plays during the song - so don't be afraid to zone out for a few minutes. Despite the title, I have to mention that this song does NOT sound very bluesey (at least not to me...), so I hope I'm not disappointing anyone. Speaking of the title: bonus points for anyone who spots the anime reference. I don't exactly know what the bonus points can be used for as of yet, but they're all yours. |

Ok, now I know things are definitely going in a bizarre direction for me here(heh!).The song's title actually has a double meaning for me: 1) I have absolutely zero experience, knowledge, and aptitude of techno music: so this is my much-bastardized version of what I think it sounds like. 2) My critical view(s) of technology. True, that sort of makes someone(like myself) who uses computers to make music somewhat of a hyppocrite, but consider the latest series of events concerning bio and chemical weapons; and the USA's lack of ability to control the use of said weapons. Add to that the still-remaining threats of nuclear war and electro(internet)-terrorism. Have a nice day! |

Here's a little go-between while I find time to come up with something brand new(or, try to find time to while I perform with Khasm around the Northeast USA). This is a re-mix of "Switchback in Exponential Reverse Logarithms", which is a re-mix of someone elses song. I did this for several reasons, but mainly because in hindsight I think I mixed the drum tracks improperly, causing them to come out a bit thin. I was a bit surprised that I had done this, because as a bassist you tend to focus on the drums above most other elements, at least most of the time. I have also altered or eliminated certain other elements of the song, which you may or may not notice. Try to find the differences, if you're really bored.......or better yet, go leave some messages on my guestbook. :) |

Here's a little piece that I'm considering using for the intro of an upcoming CD. This piece seems to really make good use of your media/mp3 player's graphic display(if yours has one), so if you don't mind tripping out for a few minutes, then be my guest! To those who want to review this: please listen to both versions(alpha/beta) if you have time, and let me know which YOU prefer(I can't decide...). Thanks, and enjoy!

As threate- uh, I mean "promised", here's the second version of "Datascape". Again, (if you have time) please check out both versions and let me know which one YOU think is better. If you despise them both equally, that's ok too. |
