Spencer Seidel, a New Jersey based guitarist recording under the project name TheBlythe Project... [is] heavily influenced by great role models such as Jeff Beck, Allan Holdsworth, and FrankZappa. Seidel incorporates modal harmonies into his compositions to add diversity and interest. Seidelstrengths lie in his improvisational ability; he is able to fly over the fretboard, nailing legato runs and melodicpassages with ease. Seidel is off to a very promising start with his early instrumental works. Check out hisCD at http://www.mp3.com/TheBlytheProject |

Haggis is a "hard-driving guitar rock quartet that takes the tried and true rock elements and reminds you of why they worked in the first place!" The band has two critically acclaimed releases under their belts, 1998's "What's Up Haircut?" and 2000's "Piper Down", (both surprisingly recorded on an 8-track CASSETTE recorder!) "Haggis captures the elements of what thesuburban middle class sound like on magic mushrooms!" Their music is "so instantly hummable that you'd swear you've heard it before". "With punchy guitars and driving rhythms powering instantly ear-catching tunes, Haggis is quickly becoming a pop 'n' roll juggernaut".
