Drawing on years of experience with multiple band schemes, Christopher Földi is laying the groundwork for a new project that will bear his own name. "I debated another 'group pseudo-name' for these new songs I was writing, but couldn't decide what to call it," says Földi. "As I started writing and recording demos, I realized that the focus revolved around my voice. It became obvious what the project would be."
The vibe of his vocal projection demands your attention. By making the voice clear and strong on the recordings, Földi's deep and distinct vocals give the songs a personal feel. An earthy departure from his State of Being material, the music uses more traditional sounding instruments like piano, strings, and guitars. Földi hopes to play this material out live later in the year, with help from members of State of Being.
Földi plans to bring in some guest artists to complete the debut full-length recording, tentatively titled "Clouded Eyes". An EP called "This Thing" is currently available.
