Before you you explore this site further, I just thought that I'd bring one of my favourite Web Radio sites to your attention.
Blazznet Internet Radio
is a Manchester based organisation dedicated to playing all forms of music as long as it it good quality. They have shows once a week, 6 to 8pm GMT on a Sunday evening as well as a chat page for any comments, criticisms, praise (hopefully!) or hurled abuse.
When it's not live there are archives of previous sets and loads of other cool stuff, so check it out when you have the time.
