To begin with, I am Walter Noons. Oh, yeah, there was a band called WALTER NOONS in the late seventies. Some of those tunes will be offered here for you to download.
Basically, I have been writing songs since 1969. I have been in bands as the drummer, the front man, bassist, and guitarist. I have had a solo acoustic career, and I there have been periods where Ive been in a duo, or trio, or two.
But in all that time, the one thing in common has been the songs. My songs: NOONSTOONS! And what those songs have in common is that they all represent an era in songwriting that influenced me, and led towards the development of my own style of songwriting. Over thirty years of em.!
So, now, were in the digital age. I can kind of kick back and up load some examples of my work. Some stuff will be studio work with a band; some will be home-studio projects. Some will be new toons done digitally for your downloading convenience.
My best hope for doing this is that folks will like my songs and will spread the word.

| A love so strong that the only definitions that came close were symbols of extreme emotion...some good, some not so good. I know that persons have questioned the reference to "like a burning cross" and why I chose such an image. The only answer I can give is that the image symbolizes misplaced and destructive passion, which as it turned out, was like this relationship: Doomed. But as Joni Mitchell said, "I've seen a lot of hot, hot blazes go down in smoke and ash." Well, Joni, so have I...this one! |
