11/12/02- I thought I'd go ahead and update this MP3 site since we are currently experiencing an abnormally high amount of plays. I wouldn't want potential fans to think we are inactive. Anyway, Big in Japan has been somewhat of a ghost for the past few months because of a major lineup change and then Asa, our new bass player went on tour for three months with his old band. While Asa was away Matt and myself were keeping busy writing new songs and we even managed to play a few shows with a fill-in bass player. I have to give thanks to that bass player for taking time off of work and his own band, The Flipsides, to play with our little outfit. Thanks Mark! Things are going to start picking up for BIJ in the coming months. We are hoping to finally start recording our new album by the beginning of this spring and then we are going to tour as much as possible. Those of you who have been hounding us to go on tour again are going to hate us because you aren't going to be able to get rid of us pretty soon. I'm no longer going to update this site with shows and crap as it is a pain in my ass, so be sure to check our website from here on out for up to the minute information. By the way, if you want to hear BIJ in a really bad movie, go to your local video rental chain store and rent Repli-Kate. It's got that girl from the Dorritos commercials and Eugene Levy in it but don't be fooled by the star-power as it sucks pretty bad. That's all the news I have for now. Until next time... -Zac

Another stupid "broken heart" song. This one's also available on a compilation released by Springman Records called "Punk Rock Strikes Back Vol.2". It's a rough mix out-take from the "Destroy" session. |
